MAFALDA MINNOZZI WITH HER NEW SHOW “ROMANTICA” IN A ONE NIGHT ONLY PRESENTATION ON SANDAY JUNE 10th, 6:00 PM, IN BELO HORIZONTE (Minas Gerais/Brazil).
During her 20 year career in Brazil, Mafalda Minnozzi’s infectious spirited manner combined with the sincerity and passion with which she interprets has made her mark on countless songs from her native Italy.
After winning over audiences in Europe and New York, the singer returns with a heartfelt new show that unites all of those classic melodies which in whatever concert hall in whatever location across the world transport the audience to Italy via memories and dreams.
Ambassador of Italian music, Mafalda never concealed her passion for Brazil. Always present in compilations and soundtracks for TV series and films, her unique interpretations draw from her origins and inspirations showing her talent, versatility and irreverence on so many stages across the country.
Through precious collaborations, exchanges and encounters she built bonds with many Brazilian artists such as Milton Nascimento, Guinga, Martinho Da Vila, Fabiana Cozza, Simoninha, Leny Andrade, Isabella Taviani and Toquinho with whom she recently sang with in a highly successful duet in the Festival in Sant Elpidio (Italy).
In a one night only presentation in QUIRGIRIM (SAO PAULO/BRAZIL) on May 012th, the star of Italian music, accompanied by a quartet of renowned musicians under the direction of Manoel Poladian-Mafalda Minnozzi, will command an evening replete with the best known classics. In the repertoire, songs such as “Io Che Amo Solo Te” by Sergio Endrigo and “Caruso” by Lucio Dalla who often cited Mafalda’s interpretation, are interleaved with music from the great Italian cinema such as Cinema Paradiso (Morricone), Il Postino (Bacalov) and The Godfather (Rota) in an evening of infinite emotions.
